AhnLab Highlights Unified CPS Security Strategy at Japan IT Week Spring 2026

Japan It Week 2026 AhnLab Booth
Apr 13, 2026 – AhnLab showcased its Cyber-Physical System (CPS) security solutions at Japan IT Week Spring 2026, Japan’s largest IT exhibition, held from April 8 to 10 at Tokyo Big Sight.
This year, AhnLab co-hosted the exhibition booth with its Japanese subsidiary and local partner Mikasa Shoji. At the booth, AhnLab highlighted AhnLab CPS PLUS, a unified CPS security platform for OT environments and connected IT systems, with a focus on AhnLab EPS, its OT endpoint security solution.
As attacks targeting OT environments continue to rise in Japan’s manufacturing-driven industrial landscape, the booth attracted visitors from a broad range of sectors, including manufacturing and critical infrastructure. Visitors engaged in active discussions with AhnLab through product demonstrations, in-booth presentations, and consultations on deployment strategies for integrated CPS security.
AhnLab EPS received particular attention for its lightweight design, which ensures robust malware detection and endpoint protection without slowing down systems or interrupting operations.
Furthermore, it also attracted interest for its ability to help protect legacy operating systems. As specialized-purpose systems such as production equipment, kiosks, and POS terminals often remain in operation for extended periods due to long replacement cycles, AhnLab EPS's compatibility with older OS versions was recognized as an effective way to close security gaps in equipment that is difficult to patch or replace.
During its booth presentation session, AhnLab presented a session titled “The First Step in OT Security Starts at the Endpoint: The Fastest Approach to Protecting On-Site Assets”. The session highlighted the importance of OT endpoint security and introduced practical security implementation strategies applicable to real-world OT environments.

AhnLab EPS is designed for specialized systems such as Industrial Control Systems (ICS), factory controllers, POS terminals, kiosks, and ATMs. It is optimized for systems that must run only authorized programs with minimal load to ensure stable operations.
