The company showcased its global strategic solutions at CyberDSA 2025, held from September 30 to October 2 in Malaysia, and IndoSec 2025, held from October 13 to 14 in Indonesia. These solutions included anti-ransomware and CPS(cyber-physical systems) security solutions, which are suited for Southeast Asia’s IT environments.

AhnLab’s Booth at IndoSec 2025
Expert session about the ransomware attack ecosystem
First, AhnLab took part in CyberDSA 2025, held from September 30 to October 2 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
CyberDSA is one of the largest cybersecurity exhibitions in Southeast Asia, encompassing the government, defense and private sectors. Following last year, AhnLab operated its own booth with the local partner GOGOPASS to showcase its solutions and provide consultations for solution adoption. During the exhibition, the booth welcomed about 600 visitors, including representatives from public institutions and enterprises.
Amid the increasing security threats targeting Malaysia’s manufacturing sector, AhnLab’s unified CPS security platform AhnLab CPS PLUS attracted strong interest for its comprehensive protection for both OT and IT environments. In particular, AhnLab Xcanner, a portable antivirus tool for industrial equipments, drew attention from those seeking to enhance security for factory and offline environments, where conventional security solutions are difficult to deploy. Moreover, global research firm Frost & Sullivan’s recognition of AhnLab as a CPS Security Market Leader added further credibility with local customers.
During an expert session, Doyeob Dobbie Kim, Pre-sales Manager of Global Business Division at AhnLab, shared the latest ransomware trends under the title “RansomOps in Action: From Initial Access to Double Extortion.” His in-depth insights into the ransomware attack ecosystem — one of Malaysia’s major cybersecurity threats — drew strong engagement from the audience, further sparking interest in AhnLab Threat Intelligence Platform(TIP), which provides advanced threat intelligence.

From October 13 to 14, AhnLab participated in IndoSec 2025, held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
IndoSec is Indonesia’s most prestigious cybersecurity exhibition. Having participated in IndoSec for the first time this year, AhnLab ran an exhibition booth with its partner DBMWORKS. The company introduced its flagship solutions to more than 400 local IT professionals.
Reflecting Indonesia’s rapid digital transformation, AhnLab’s wide range of cybersecurity solutions drew strong interest across the board. Notably, AhnLab MDS, the sandbox-based APT response solution, received attention for effectively addressing ransomware by executing and analyzing unknown malware from multiple entry points – including endpoints, networks and email – in a virtual environment. AhnLab XDR also received positive feedback for its capability to analyze relationship among various security events within an organization to identify potential risks.
At this year’s event, AhnLab distinguished itself as one of the few exhibitors to emphasize CPS security, underlining its specialized expertise. AhnLab CPS PLUS was noted for delivering extensive coverage across all OT layers from OT endpoints to IT systems connected to them.
