AhnLab V3 Achieves Perfect Score in AV-TEST’s First Advanced Threat Protection Evaluation of 2025

May 19, 2025 – AhnLab, a leading cybersecurity company in Korea, announced that its antivirus solution, V3, achieved a perfect score in the first Advanced Threat Protection Test (ATP Test) of 2025 conducted by AV-TEST, a globally recognized security product evaluation institute.
The ATP Test, conducted every even-numbered month, evaluates security solutions’ ability to detect and respond to advanced threats using 10 cyberattack scenarios based on the MITRE ATT&CK framework. The test breaks down each attack into nine distinct stages—from initial intrusion to final data exfiltration—and assesses at which stage the product successfully blocks the threat.
In the February 2025 ATP Test, AhnLab V3 participated in both the Home User and Business User categories*, achieving the highest possible score of 35 points in each. The product received high marks for its ability to block various threats, including ransomware and infostealers, at the early stages of attack across all scenarios.
