From OT Security to AI Threat Intelligence: AhnLab at Interop Tokyo 2026
AI, cloud, and network technologies were key topics at Interop Tokyo 2026. However, for IT professionals from manufacturing and industrial organizations, the main question was: how can organizations secure their environment without disrupting operations?
We addressed this question through a CPS security demo using actual equipment, AI-powered threat intelligence, and a SaaS-based security operations model.
Over the three-day event, our booth welcomed more than 2,300 visitors. Here is a closer look at what we showcased at Interop Tokyo 2026.
Proven Security for Uninterrupted IT and OT Operations

Unified security strategy for OT and AI-powered security operations on display at Interop Tokyo 2026.
We participated in Interop Tokyo 2026, Japan’s largest ICT exhibition, held from June 10 to 12 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. At the event, we presented our unified security strategy and key solutions for OT environments.
Interop Tokyo is Japan’s largest B2B IT exhibition, covering the latest ICT technologies across networking, AI, cloud, data centers, and security. This year’s event brought together more than 500 companies and approximately 150,000 visitors, with global IT and security leaders such as Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, Cisco, and Fortinet showcasing their latest technologies and solutions.
Under the theme “Proven Security Unifying IT and OT for Uninterrupted Operations” we introduced our integrated security approach for OT environments, combining threat intelligence with AI-driven response strategies.
Reflecting Interop Tokyo’s focus on real-world operations and connectivity, we designed our booth around live demonstrations. Through CPS architecture modeled on actual operating environments, together with demonstrations using real equipment, visitors were able to gain a clear view of our security strategy.

Approximately 2,300 visitors, including professionals from manufacturing, telecommunications, public institutions, and data centers, visited our booth. They showed strong interest in security use cases for manufacturing and industrial environments, OT protection, the use of threat intelligence, and a SaaS-based security operations model for integrated device management.
We organized the booth into three areas: the CPS PLUS Zone, TIP/XDR Zone, and V3 Security for Business Zone, presenting security strategies and use cases across these domains.
CPS Security Demo Modeled on Real Industrial Environments
In the CPS PLUS Zone, we introduced our security architecture optimized for OT environments built on a CPS security framework that brings together EPS, XTD, Xcanner, XTG, and MDS.
At the booth, we demonstrated a CPS security architecture built around the Purdue Model and actual equipment, giving visitors a clear view of how OT networks and security controls connect and operate. The demo featured OT security equipment including our firewall, AhnLab XTG, visibility and threat detection solution XTD, and advanced threat response solution MDS. Together, these solutions demonstrated how organizations can gain visibility across OT networks, maintain operational stability, and implement a practical security architecture in industrial environments.
We also highlighted our recognition as a Leader in Frost & Sullivan’s 2025 CPS Security Frost Radar™. Under the theme “Proven Security Unifying IT and OT for Uninterrupted Operations,” we emphasized our proven CPS security capabilities for real-world industrial environments and our global competitiveness.
Visitors showed interest in our unified CPS security framework for OT and IT environments, as well as our experience across a wide range of industries. Many also asked how organizations can strengthen security without compromising operational stability and build a zero trust architecture with AhnLab XTG.

Security Operations Powered by AI and Threat Intelligence
In the TIP/XDR Zone, we presented a security operations strategy combining threat intelligence built over more than 30 years with AI-powered detection, analysis, and response capabilities.
Through Global Threat Actor Profiling, we showed how we use TI to identify and classify threat actors. We presented visualizations of threat actor taxonomy, naming systems, and attack group distribution by country. The exhibit also highlighted our capabilities in analyzing major threat groups linked to countries such as North Korea and China, as well as our malware analysis expertise.
We also showcased AI-powered capabilities that make the analysis and use of large volumes of threat intelligence more intuitive and efficient, while demonstrating our response capabilities based on real-world attacks.
Visitors showed strong interest in the latest threat trends and threat actor intelligence across Korea and APAC, and our TI capabilities built on our sensor infrastructure and dedicated analyst team.

SaaS-Based Security Operations Model Proven in Japan
In the V3 Security for Business Zone, we introduced our cloud-based security management solution designed for small and mid-sized businesses.
We presented a next-generation endpoint protection strategy that combines vulnerability management with MDM, along with a cloud-based security operations model that enables centralized management of multiple operating systems and devices without deploying a separate server.
We also highlighted our recognition on ITreview, a Japanese IT solution review platform. V3 Security for Business was named a High Performer and Leader multiple times including 2025 Spring, 2025 Summer, 2026 Winter, and 2026 Spring demonstrating the product’s competitiveness and customer trust in the Japanese market.
Visitors from small and mid-sized businesses focused on the solution’s ease of use, operational efficiency, and reliable cloud-based management environment.

In-Booth Sessions Focused on Real-World Security Challenges
Throughout the event, we held in-booth sessions to share technical insights with visitors.
The sessions covered practical topics such as “AI-powered cybersecurity: AhnLab’s defense architecture”, “Leading OT security: Proven security measures for industrial sites that cannot afford downtime”, and “Solving enterprise device management challenges”.
Instead of focusing only on product introductions, the sessions addressed real security challenges faced by organizations. We introduced our AI-powered security operations strategy, threat response direction, practical approaches to OT security operations in industrial environments, and cloud-based strategy for integrated device management.

In addition to product demonstrations, our booth hosted a range of technical consultations throughout the exhibition. Visitors explored real-world OT security operations structures and AI-powered threat response flows, leading to active discussions on how these strategies could be applied in their business environments.
The demo environment was a key draw, with many conversations focused on OT visibility, operational stability, and AI-powered response strategies.

At Interop Tokyo 2026, we expanded our engagement with customers in Japan by showcasing integrated security capabilities across OT security, threat intelligence, and cloud-based security operations. Through a CPS demo using actual equipment, AI-powered threat intelligence, and a SaaS-based security operations model, we presented security strategies applicable to a wide range of customer environments, from manufacturing and industrial sites to small and mid-sized businesses.
Following RSAC 2026 and CYBERSEC Taiwan 2026, our participation in Interop Tokyo 2026 marked another step in our continued presence at major global exhibitions. We continue to strengthen our brand awareness and business competitiveness in the global market.
