AhnLab V3 Earns VB100 Certification with Grade A+
- Achieved grade A+ with 100% malware detection, proving global competitiveness
- Completely blocked malware and met the false positive criteria
- Continuously receiving positive results following AV-TEST and MITRE Evaluation

AhnLab, a global cybersecurity company, today announced that its endpoint security solution AhnLab V3 earned Virus Bulletin’s VB100 certification with the highest rating of Grade A+, achieving 100% malware detection.
VB100 is one of the leading cybersecurity certifications that evaluates Windows-based endpoint security solutions on their real-world malware protection performance. Based on various real-world threat scenarios, VB100 evaluates both detection rates and accuracy, verifying a product’s malware detection performance and stability.
In the June test, AhnLab V3 earned the highest rating of Grade A+, confirming its top-tier detection performance and stability by achieving 100% malware detection and meeting the criteria for false positives.
AhnLab V3 also confirmed its reliability by detecting all malware samples in the Certification Set, a dataset of malware actively used by attackers, and met the false positive criteria for normal files.
Hayoung Yang, head of AhnLab ASEC, said, “This perfect-score certification reflects AhnLab V3’s detection accuracy and stability. The product accurately detected malware distributed in real-world environments while meeting the false positive criteria for normal files. We will continue to strengthen our threat response technologies and AI-based analysis capabilities to meet global standards and deliver consistent and reliable protection across a wide range of environments.”
AhnLab has participated in VB100 since 2018 and has maintained the certification. AhnLab has also achieved strong results in other major global security tests. AhnLab was named a Top Product in the latest AV-TEST and recorded a 100% blocking rate in the Protections category in the MITRE ATT&CK Evaluations Round 7. AhnLab continues to participate in global cybersecurity performance tests and industry standards programs to enhance its technology and reliability.
