Unified Security ◦ AhnLab News04-24-2026

AhnLab No.1 Customer Choice in 8 Security Segments: Unified Security Strength Proven

AhnLab ranked No.1 in customer preference across 8 security solution categories in the 2025 Cybersecurity Professional Survey in Korea, conducted by Boan News and Security World, validating the strength of its unified security platform. With 857 to 2,224 Korean security professionals participating per solution, AhnLab was named the most preferred vendor across major security domains — endpoint, network, security operations, OT, and data security.

Today's security threats are no longer confined to a single domain. As threats move across environments — from endpoints and networks to the cloud — security teams need a unified framework that detects and responds to scattered threats from a single view. In this landscape, AhnLab topping all 8 security solution categories reflects recognition not only of its individual solution performance, but also of its competitiveness as a unified platform covering the entire security spectrum.

Endpoint Security — Antivirus & EDR

In endpoint security, AhnLab ranked No.1 in customer preference for both Antivirus (26.2%) and EDR (23.3%), outpacing global vendors such as Microsoft (Antivirus 10.4%, EDR 18.1%) and SentinelOne (Antivirus 10.4%, EDR 11.6%). The results reaffirm AhnLab's strong position in Korea's endpoint security market.

Behind these results lies the technical strength of AhnLab EDR. AhnLab EDR excels at precise attack detection through its behavior-based analysis engine and threat classification framework. It visualizes threat entry points, behavioral flows, and correlated context through timelines and process trees for full attack visibility, while its EPP-based single agent integrates with a wide range of security solutions to reduce operational complexity and maximize response efficiency. As the only Korean vendor to participate in the MITRE ATT&CK Evaluations for five consecutive years, AhnLab has consistently proven its threat detection and response capabilities — a key driver of its high customer preference.

Network Security — Zero Trust & DDoS Mitigation

In network security, AhnLab ranked No.1 in both Zero Trust brand recall and DDoS mitigation preference, reinforcing its position in the market. Notably, when asked "Which domestic company comes to mind when you think of Zero Trust?", 38.7% of respondents named AhnLab — solidifying its place as Korea's most recognized Zero Trust brand.

Behind this Zero Trust leadership is AhnLab XTG, a next-generation firewall. AhnLab XTG delivers ZTNA-based access control, continuously verifying user and device identities and managing access across on-premises and remote environments. Even in distributed network environments, SD-WAN-based intelligent traffic steering optimizes routing for stable, cost-efficient connectivity, while extended security capabilities include lightweight VPN, application control, URL filtering, C2 communication detection and blocking, and spam filtering.

AhnLab also ranked No.1 (28.9%) as the most preferred DDoS mitigation solution for adoption, outpacing SECUI (26.8%) and Penta Security (16.8%). Behind this result is AhnLab DPX, a full-spectrum DDoS mitigation solution spanning next-gen protocols to scrubbing center integration. It is built on an Intel architecture–based high-performance packet processing system and a 13-stage filtering structure, delivering optimized defense through per-asset traffic learning. With multi-tenancy support for up to 1,000 zones, AhnLab DPX enables tailored policy management, monitoring, and alerting for each protected asset. It also supports both inline and out-of-path deployment, flexibly adapting to diverse network environments.

Security Operations — XDR & SOAR

In security operations, AhnLab ranked No.1 in both XDR (19.5%) and SOAR (18.6%) customer preference. For XDR, AhnLab was selected as the most preferred solution, outpacing global vendors such as Microsoft (17.4%) and SentinelOne (12.3%). Similarly, AhnLab topped the SOAR category as the most preferred solution for adoption, ahead of Microsoft (15.9%) and Palo Alto Networks (13.8%).

AhnLab XDR collects and correlates logs from across all security domains — endpoints, networks, and cloud — on a single platform, delivering unified visibility into the full attack chain that point solutions alone cannot provide. Through AI-powered detection, AI assistant, risk prioritization, and automated response, AhnLab XDR helps security teams focus on the most critical threats amid high alert volumes. It also integrates with AhnLab TIP threat intelligence in real time, automatically matching the latest IoCs with internal assets for instant impact assessment and proactive response to emerging threats.

AhnLab also ranked No.1 in SOAR customer preference. AhnLab SOAR offers standard and custom playbooks built on AhnLab's threat response scenarios, ensuring consistent response quality regardless of analyst skill. Its ML-powered ASA (AhnLab SOAR AI) analysis module automates threat detection and false positive filtering, freeing analysts to focus on critical threat response rather than repetitive work. It supports various 3rd party integrations for security orchestration and maximizes threat response synergy through seamless integration with existing AhnLab solutions.

OT Security

In OT security, AhnLab ranked No.1 in customer preference (24.6%) as the most preferred solution for new adoption, outpacing SECUI (15.2%) and Nozomi Networks (12.8%). Driving this preference is AhnLab CPS PLUS, a unified CPS security platform protecting OT-IT environments across diverse industries.

AhnLab CPS PLUS was named a CPS Security Market Leader in the Frost Radar 2025, earning the highest innovation score among all evaluated vendors. Combining AhnLab's threat detection and response expertise with OT capabilities, it delivers gap-free, proactive security across Identification → Detection → Response. It also delivers broad asset visibility across OT-IT environments through seamless integration of CPS endpoint and network solutions.

AI-Powered Unified Security, Proven by No.1 in 8 Solutions

AhnLab has long earned trust in Korea's security market through V3. But this latest recognition — No.1 across 8 categories — shows that AhnLab is no longer just an antivirus company. Across every major security domain, from EDR and Zero Trust to DDoS mitigation, XDR, SOAR, OT security, and privacy management, security professionals are choosing AhnLab.

This is possible because AhnLab's portfolio is not simply a collection of standalone point solutions, but a unified platform designed to maximize synergy. AhnLab PLUS — spanning endpoint (ENDPOINT PLUS), network (NETWORK PLUS), cloud (CLOUD PLUS), security operations (CONNECT PLUS), services (SERVICE PLUS), and OT (CPS PLUS) — eliminates blind spots through seamless product interoperability and establishes a more powerful response architecture through cross-platform integration.

With AhnLab AI PLUS, our AI-powered security platform, these unified capabilities are advancing to the next level. Built on more than three decades of threat intelligence and incident response expertise, AhnLab AI PLUS is a proprietary AI platform that embeds intelligence across AhnLab's entire portfolio — powering AI-driven detection and analysis, threat intelligence, and security operations optimization. Through this intelligence layer, AhnLab's unified platform is evolving beyond simple product interoperability toward an AI agent-based framework for autonomous security operations — one that understands security context and responds on its own.

As security environments grow more complex and AI-powered attacks become the norm, what matters most is no longer the capability of each point solution, but the strength of the unifying platform that connects them and responds intelligently. AhnLab ranking No.1 in customer preference across 8 solutions is a clear signal: AhnLab is recognized not just for its individual solutions, but for its strength as a unified security platform.
